We are looking for a creative, technically skilled, and story-driven Video Editor to join our content team in Patna. Your mission will be to produce visually stunning content that promotes Bihar’s capital, its deep historical roots, vibrant festivals like Chhath Puja, and the modern urban transformation of the city.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post-Production: Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for tourism promotions, social media campaigns, and corporate events.
• Technical Enhancements: Apply professional transitions, color grading (to capture the grit and gold of the city), sound design, and text overlays in English and Hindi.
• Format Versatility: Create high-impact short-form content (Instagram Reels/YouTube Shorts) and detailed long-form documentaries or vlogs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with local photographers, drone pilots, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive visual narrative of Patna.
• Deadlines: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from heritage site features at Kumhrar to the bustling energy of the Ganga Marine Drive.
• Authenticity: Ensure all content reflects the true essence of Bihari culture, tradition, and the city’s evolving identity.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Degree/Diploma in Video Editing, Mass Communication, Film Studies, or a related field.
• Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Experience with After Effects for motion graphics is a plus.
• Artistic Vision: A strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and an eye for capturing the unique light and colors of the Bihar landscape.
• Linguistic Skills: Proficiency in Hindi for accurate subtitling and sync; knowledge of Bhojpuri, Maithili, or Magahi is an advantage.
• Social Media Savvy: Deep understanding of current trends, aspect ratios, and engagement tactics for digital platforms.

Experience:

• 2–5 years preferred in video editing, digital media, or travel journalism.
• Strong Portfolio: Candidates with a portfolio featuring cultural, heritage, or urban travel content will be prioritized.
